The Braselton Compass - A Community Character Survey

The following community character survey is part of the Town of Braselton's 2030 Comprehensive Plan Effort. Over the last 10-15 years, the town has undergone a significant amount of growth and development including the construction of the Chateau Elan Resort and Winery and many new residential communities. The Comprehensive Plan is intended to establish a vision for the future of Braselton over the next 20 years and result in policies and strategies that will guide the Town Council as it makes decisions related to growth, development, and public improvements.

The survey includes 46 images and a series of short-answer and multiple choice questions to gage your opinion regarding the future of Braselton. For each of the 46 images please rank the photo on a scale from 1 star (lowest ranking) to 5 stars (highest ranking) based on your opinion of each image's appropriateness if it were to be located in the Town of Braselton in the future (does the photo belong in Braselton?).

Please note the map above. The first set of images relate to the future character of Downtown Braselton. The second set of images attempt to capture the potential character of a more walkable Activity Center that could be developed in the future near Thompson Mill Road and Highway 211. The remaining photos (Conventional Development) relate to the remainder of the Town of Braselton.

For each of the follow up questions please answer the question based on your opinions regarding the future of the Town of Braselton.

The survey should take approximately 10-15 minutes to complete.
